Welcome to MotivMate. By downloading, installing, or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use MotivMate.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MotivMate ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the MotivMate mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms.

MotivMate allows you to create, share, and interact with content including task templates, challenge responses, squad messages, and profile information ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant MotivMate a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit. You represent that you have all necessary rights to share such content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
MotivMate includes community features such as Squads (small accountability groups), shared challenges, and co-working sessions. When participating in these features:
We reserve the right to remove users from Squads or restrict access to community features for violations of these guidelines.
The MotivMate application, including its design, graphics, features, and content (excluding User Content), are owned by MotivMate and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the application.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our data practices.
MotivMate is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
MotivMate is a productivity tool designed to support your goals, but we make no guarantees regarding specific outcomes, habit formation, or productivity results.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MotivMate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You may stop using MotivMate and delete your account at any time through the app under Profile → Settings, or by contacting us at hello@motivmate.com.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app or sending an email notification. Your continued use of MotivMate after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or courts of competent jurisdiction.
